Lake Washington Rowing Club

Congratulations to the Womens’ Sweep Team, who were victorious in the Womens’ Club event at the San Diego Crew Classic this past weekend, April 4-5.    Starting last in the handicapped race,  LWRC won the coveted Thalia Kelly Considine Cup by a large margin over the Rocky Mountain Rowing Club.  They also competed in the Women’s A category, taking second in a close race with the Austin Rowing Club.

Susan Kinne’s Portland Boat Club easily won the Women’s Eight E category AGAIN!  Check out the cool trophies in the boathouse.  They will be moved to the conference room (at least the Thalia Kelly Considine Cup).
