The meeting portion of the night will begin promptly at 6:30pm with the
hopes of getting everyone home at a decent hour. We will review 2009, the
good, the bad and the ugly and take a look into what’s ahead for 2010.

Join in LWRC’s only annual social event that includes rowing. 

Locks to Fremont Bridge race course, handicapped, multiple categories, costumes, prizes and trophies, great potluck breakfast!  The complete package, topped off by predicted dynamite weather.  Bring guests, especially potential new rowers and members, and just come watch and eat if you don’t want to row. 

Entry forms available now at sign-out desk.  Boat reservation sign-up in boat bays.  We encourage members who have never raced to give it a try.  This is family fun day.  For the veterans it’s a chance to demolish the course record.  The goal is lots of boats on the water having a good time.

Don’t forget to bring a breakfast-type food offering and a couple of bucks to cover costs of prizes and coffee.

Rower Evan Jacobs received some prominent ink in the The Seattle Times recently, as the paper’s artist Gabriel Campanario blogged about his experience rowing behind Evan in a double wherry.

Also in Campanario’s blog is his sketch of coach Frank Cunningham.

Saturday’s print edition featured a different entry, also promoting the Great Cross Sound Race (where, by the way, Evan won his division). Way to plug the race and the club!
