Lake Washington Rowing Club offers an annual membership.   Members receive unlimited access to the facility, club equipment, all club social events and periodic newsletters.  As a not-for-profit organization all members are expected to participate in club work parties, meetings and equipment maintenance.

All members enjoy the following benefits:

  • Unlimited access to the LWRC boathouse 24/7
  • Unlimited use of club equipment including wherries, training singles, racing singles, pair/doubles, four/quads, and eights
  • Storage Racks for private rowing shells (addtional fee)
  • Race under the LWRC club name in local, regional, national, and international competition
  • Access to locker and shower facilities
  • Access to all club social events
  • Monthly newsletter, with information regarding upcoming races, and informative articles about rowing and club events
  • Opportunities for coaching, special topic lectures, storage of private shells and equipment
  •  Voting rights at the annual meeting

Membership Categories 

 Membership  Cost (9.5% sales tax included)    Details
 Individual  $762.92 Use of all equipment and facilities, may vote in elections, and receive the newsletter. Members may opt for monthly ACH payments.
 Family  $1144.39 Family members must live at the same address and have the same privileges as the regular members.
 Social  $69.00  Inactive members receive the newsletter and may participate in social events and fund-raising activities.
 Collegiate Summer (13 Week Membership)  $214.91 Student members receive full membership privileges and coaching included in the cost. Temporary membership available for out of town residents. Date and equipment restrictions may apply.
 One-month trial  $108.58  LWRC invites you to try us for a month to see if it’s for you.

  • o $540 annual fee billed at $45.00/mo covers all coaching, entry fees, and trailers to major regattas.
  • o Can row in any program from learn to row and sculling to the mixed masters and evening leagues.
  • o Creates a ladder for members to participate in different or multiple programs.
