EXPERIENCED
ROWERS

LWRC is a great place to row for a lifetime. We cater to collegiate and masters rowers. Row independently or with a program. Many racing opportunities are available. Bring your own boat and/or row in club equipment. We also give you the flexibility to row or train in the gym throughout the day.

PROGRAMS

We offer rowing programs for a variety of experience levels throughout the year in the morning, evenings, and weekends. Most of our programs focus on sculling. Our coaches can teach both and will often invite small sweep boats to their sculling programs. If you want to compete, improve your technique, or enjoy a nice workout on the water, we have the right rowing program for you. All of our programs are run in small groups by experienced coaches who work hard to make you better. We also offer private lessons for those few instances when programs don't quite fit.

RACING

Most of our racing is done in sculls. When members show interest, we work together to put fast sweep boats together for limited entry regattas like the Opening Day in Seattle, the San Diego Crew Classic, and Head of the Charles. We support members in their goals for a wide range of racing opportunities on local, national and world stages. We compete in flat and open water regattas. Many of our members are former National team competitors and are continuing their racing careers at LWRC.

BOATHOUSE

Located in the heart of Fremont between Lake Union and the Ship Canal, our spacious boathouse provides easy access to the water, plenty of modern rowing shells to choose from, and space to store your own shell. We have a large gym with ergs and free weights and a lounge to hang out, relax and enjoy a coffee.
