LWRC Junior Summer Camps

LWRC offers week-long summer camps. Each individual camp is focused on a specific level of rower. The Junior Camps accepts students in grades 7 through 12. All camps meet Monday through Friday and run from 9AM to 12PM. Small class sizes and individualized attention distinguish the LWRC Junior Camps from other camps.

Junior Summer Camp Level 1 is for brand new or nearly new rowers. Junior rowers will learn the basics of rowing and proper technique while rowing in stable single-person boats. Upon completion of this program, rowers are eligible for Level 2.

Junior Summer Camp Level 2 is for more experienced rowers who have completed Level 1 or the equivalent at another club. Campers concentrate on balance, the addition of power to the stroke, and safety. Upon completion of this program, Junior rowers are eligible to participate and join LWRC Junior Program during the regular school yeah (with coach’s approval). Attend multiple Level 2 camps to gain more skill.

If you have any questions regarding the Summer camps, please contact Andy Rees. We look forward to working with you this summer!
